Little Tey Barn – Colchester, Essex (Image above)
Little Tey Barn is a beautifully converted 16th Century barn, complete with a stunning adjoining house that sleeps up to 14 people, all set in 3 acres of rolling Essex countryside. Situated just a few miles outside of the historical town of Colchester, Little Tey Barn is a truly magical venue in which to hold a wedding. The barn, plus two wings of the house, enclose a courtyard finished in the classic style which is where we often set up our kitchen. This courtyard is ideal for our street food service, wood-fired pizza service or BBQ service. And when it comes to BBQ catering, Essex knows we are the best! Markshall Estate – Coggeshall, Essex
The Markshall Estate dates back all the way to the Domesday book, with a building standing there for nearly 1000 years! The estate now acts as a conservation area and offers breathtaking views of the Essex countryside which has proved attractive to many who have hired this venue for their wedding. Anne of Cleves Barn – Great Bardfield, Essex
Anne of Cleves Barn was originally known as Great Park, an estate that was an enclosed medieval deer park. The barn was built when it was owned by Anne of Cleves following the annulment of her marriage to King Henry VIII. Anne of Cleves Barn is an impressive Grade 1 listed brick and tile barn. Opened up as a wedding venue in 2014, it’s licensed for wedding ceremonies and can seat up to 150 guests for the ceremony and wedding reception. In the evening it can seat up to 200 guests. The Paddock @ Common Farm – Upminster, Essex
The Paddock @ Common Farm is a blank canvas event space, giving you full control over the suppliers of your ideal wedding – your day, your way! The site is set on 2 acres of land which is surrounded by woodland foliage, trees, wildflowers and a picturesque freshwater lily pond too!
